Question 1

How much does a groom cost?

Accepted Answer

Prices depend on your dog's size and coat type. A Full Groom starts from £35 for XS breeds up to £85 for XL breeds. A Bath & Blow Dry starts from £20. You can see the full price list on our Services & Prices page.

Question 2

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept cash and bank transfer. Payment is due on collection of your dog.

Question 3

Are there any extra charges I should know about?

Accepted Answer

If your dog's coat is severely matted, a dematting charge may apply — we'll always let you know before we begin. Additional services such as nail grinding, teeth brushing, or flea treatments are priced separately and listed on our Services page.

Question 4

How do I book an appointment?

Accepted Answer

You can book online using our booking form, or get in touch via phone, email, or WhatsApp and we'll sort a time that works for you.

Question 5

How long does a groom take?

Accepted Answer

Most grooms take between 1.5 and 3 hours depending on your dog's size, coat condition, and the services chosen. We'll give you an estimated collection time when you drop off.

Question 6

How often should I book my dog in?

Accepted Answer

We recommend every 6–8 weeks for most breeds to keep the coat in good condition. Dogs with fast-growing or curly coats (like Poodles, Cockapoos, and Bichons) may need grooming every 4–6 weeks.

Question 7

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee.

Question 8

What's included in a Full Groom?

Accepted Answer

A Full Groom includes a bath with professional shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, brush out, breed-specific or owner-requested haircut, nail clip, ear clean, and finishing spritz.

Question 9

Do you groom puppies?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We love introducing puppies to grooming early. We recommend a first groom around 12–16 weeks (after their second vaccination). Puppy grooms are gentle and relaxed to build a positive experience from the start.

Question 10

My dog is nervous — is that okay?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. We take our time with anxious dogs and never rush them. We use calm, gentle handling throughout and will always stop if a dog is too stressed. Please let us know at booking so we can plan accordingly.

Question 11

My dog's coat is matted — can you help?

Accepted Answer

We'll always try to brush out matting where it's safe and comfortable to do so. Severe matting may need to be clipped out to avoid causing pain to your dog — their welfare always comes first. A dematting charge may apply.

Question 12

Do you groom all breeds?

Accepted Answer

We groom all breeds from tiny terriers to giant breeds. If you have a breed with specific grooming requirements, just let us know when booking and we'll make sure we're prepared.
